Security Officer- Daily Pay

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Concierge Security Officer in a multi-story corporate office building in Hagerstown, Maryland. The role requires a driver's license with a clean record and works Monday/Tuesday and Saturday/Sunday from 2pm to 10pm. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options.

Responsibilities

• Tell us about how your natural ability to engage with others reassures and inspires confidence.
• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
• Achie and pass an extensive screening process.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
• Have Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of at least 2 years or more.
• Have a state license if required.
• Be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
• Have CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Have phone skills and computer literacy.
