Security Officer - Site Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document relevant activity according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, noting that working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
