Security Officer Shopping Center Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry and exit, and document deliveries, vendors, and/or other authorized personnel entering the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing access points, loading areas, and other assigned spaces to help identify unusual activity.
• Complete required reports and logs related to access activity, incidents, and/or daily operations while maintaining professional communication with employees, visitors, and drivers.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
