Mall Security Officer - Day Shift

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Mall Security Officer in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate must have a state security license, 32-hour BSIS security trainings, and at least six months of security experience. Applicants should be 21 years old, have an active driver's license, and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings
• You are authorized to work in the U.S.
• You must be 21 years old
• You must have an active driver's license
• You must be able to provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED
• You must be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• You must be responsive and have strong problem-solving skills
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus

Pay

$22 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Schedule

Full time, 40 hours per week
Friday - Tuesday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
Sunday - Thursday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
