Security Officer - Shift Supervisor

Pay

$20.50 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week
Tue+Wed+Sat 2pm–10pm | Thu–Fri 10pm–6am

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Train new officers, conduct on-site training, and provide coaching to improve performance
• Direct security officers, assign posts and orders, manage shift scheduling, and ensure adequate coverage
• Show leadership skills as a shift supervisor and be available for officers and clients if needed
• Enroll in aviation training to obtain FAA drone certification

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology (computer skills)
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
• Valid TWIC card (hard copy, not expired)
• At least 1 year of previous supervisor experience in security or a similar field
• Able to walk and stand for long periods of time if needed
• Able to obtain a security license
