As a Security Officer Service Gate in Juno Beach, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay

$19.00 per hour

Schedule

Fixed shift: Wednesday and Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (anchor shifts). Six‑month commitment required. Through the Claim‑A‑Shift program you can pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites, allowing you to work part‑time one week and full‑time the next, scaling back as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a utility operations location while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted and critical infrastructure areas, verify credentials as directed, and report access concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid guard card required.
• Background investigation required (federal, state, local laws).
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
