As a Security Officer Service Focused Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity across the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to help support daily operations.
• Assist with routine property functions such as visitor direction, tenant assistance, and after-hours access control while following post orders and client site expectations.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing Requirements

• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
