Security Officer Service Focused Patrol

As a Security Officer Service Focused Patrol in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for students, staff, visitors, and/or contractors in accordance with location procedures.
• Support daily campus operations by documenting observations, communicating with site contacts and/or local responders, and assisting with security-related concerns as needed.

Requirements

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
