Security Officer - Security - Part-Time - Evening Shift Including All Weekends/Holidays and Some Weekdays

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
• Perform all duties assigned consistent with the hospital’s commitment to providing quality health care services in a compassionate and humane manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of 8‑hour and 16‑hour Security Courses.
• NYS Security License.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 90 days of starting and renewed every two years.
• Ability to write and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and visitors.
• Legible writing.
• Basic computer literacy.

Qualifications

• One year of security experience within a hospital or related medical setting.
• Valid driver’s license.

Pay

Salary range: $23.42–$24.05 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time evening shift, 3:00 pm–11:00 pm, including all weekends/holidays and some weekdays.
