As a Security Officer Security Clearance - Full Time in Rolling Meadows, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic aero and defense location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and observe conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor entry points, verify badges and/or visitor credentials, and report access control concerns in accordance with location protocols.
• Support assigned aerospace and defense location operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally with employees and contractors, and reporting security-related issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
