As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and may operate a vehicle as part of your duties. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, maintain access records, and report unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor entry points, gates, and access-control systems at a chemical and petrochemical location, escalating alarms or irregular conditions promptly.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established emergency protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
