About the role
As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Wynnewood, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming, professional experience for employees and visitors. This position requires routine patrols, visibility to deter security-related incidents, and clear communication with site personnel. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, documenting visitors, and directing authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports related to access activity, incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21+ years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$16.50 / Hour
Schedule
- Position Type: Full Time
- Day shift: Monday–Friday, 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
