Security Officer Entry Control Driver

About the Role

As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Lakewood, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will support a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, conducting patrols, deterring security incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Observe vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian traffic at entry and exit points; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required for this driving position in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$21.17 per hour.

• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
