Job Description

As a Security Officer Secure Entry Access in York, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting employees, visitors, and operations.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor badges as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access to manufacturing and industrial areas in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated business areas, access points, and the perimeter, as assigned by the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
