As a Security Officer Secure Access Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual)
- 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR
- 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR
- 3+ Years' Security Experience (C108)
- Valid Driver's License
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and entry and exit screening at the location.
- Monitor entry points, visitor logs, vehicle access activity, and restricted area authorizations to help support security-related policies and account for authorized movement throughout the site.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify suspicious activity, unsecured conditions, and/or policy violations.
- Prepare clear reports on access activity, incidents, and daily observations, and help support compliance with site rules in a chemical and petrochemical environment.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- One or more years of law enforcement experience, or two or more years of security supervisor and/or manager experience, or three or more years of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
