Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of technology and research facilities, including exterior areas and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions.
- Maintain access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
- Complete accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.
Requirements
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include being 21+ years of age, having a valid driver's license for driving positions only, and meeting state and local licensing requirements.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to respond calmly to emergencies, and attention to detail are essential.
