Security Officer Screening Specialist FXG

As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or personal items in accordance with location policies and established screening procedures.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entry and exit points within a logistics and distribution location to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to screening areas, loading and receiving zones, and other assigned work areas.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 21 years old for armed roles, 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
