As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a busy retail distribution location, where you will help support access screening, observe activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care.

• Day: Thur 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM, Fri 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM, Sat 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM, Sun 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or deliveries at designated entry points in accordance with location policies and required access procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document entry and exit activity to help support security-related operations at the location.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
