What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or selected items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post instructions and security-related procedures.
- Monitor access points and verify identification, credentials, manifests, and/or authorized entry status while documenting screening activity and unusual events.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting concerns and escalating issues according to site protocol.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to screening areas, receiving and shipping zones, and other assigned posts as conditions vary by location.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
