About the role

As a Security Officer Screening Credential Review in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will support access control processes, screen people and materials, monitor assigned areas, and help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and use technology to document activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering the distribution facility in accordance with site policies and access-control procedures.
• Inspect packages, bags, and/or other items as authorized by site procedures, and document screening activity or prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entry points, loading areas, and the business perimeter, while reporting suspicious activity and/or hazards.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
