Security Officer Credential Screening

About the Role

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage production location in Fremont, OH, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting security-related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and following established access-control procedures.
• Help deter unauthorized access by observing entry points, reporting unusual activity, and escalating access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access-related alarms, delivery issues, and employee or visitor concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, parking locations, facility grounds, and perimeter areas while documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.48 per hour.

• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
