As a Screener in a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel and/or materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing professional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and packages entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, business areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
