Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, personal items, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and documented screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or policy violations by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and maintaining awareness of security-related concerns throughout the shift.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, including entrances, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter locations, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
