What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping-related documentation, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and security-related events.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
