What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Screen employees, visitors, and/or deliveries through designated entry points using access control procedures and screening equipment according to site guidelines.
- Verify identification, issue visitor access materials when appropriate, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter as assigned, noting conditions that could impact daily operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
