Security Officer Roving Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Roving Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This part-time, unarmed patrol position requires routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to site leadership or appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and other security-related support activities as directed by site procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Thursday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
