Security Officer Roving Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Roving Patrol Driver in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access authorizations, and support access control practices in accordance with site requirements for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and communicating clearly with site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders during routine and emergency situations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
