Security Officer Roving Driver

The Security Officer Roving Driver position in Salinas, CA, involves serving and safeguarding clients in various industries, including automotive.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and problem-solve, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including parking areas, vehicle storage areas, service lanes, showrooms, and perimeter access points, noting unusual activity and conditions.
• Maintain vigilance at entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to deter trespassing, theft, and disruptions involving customers, vehicles, or property.
• Support opening and closing routines, observe after-hours activity, and communicate with local responders and/or management when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
