Security Officer Roving Inspection Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Roving Inspection Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Utilities. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and other personnel at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, office areas, access points, parking areas, equipment yards, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$17.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Monday through Friday
