Security Officer - Rover/Driver

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols by foot and by car, to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Read and write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Provide appropriate badges at the facility
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
• Work with electronics
• Maintain vehicles and other assigned equipment; follow proper procedures

Requirements

• Able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem-solving skills
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience preferred
• Valid PILB in hand
• Able to stand, sit, walk for long periods of time, and handle any weather conditions
• Able to multitask and work well under pressure
• At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• Valid driver's license
• At least a copy of HS Diploma/GED, or higher degree in hand
• CPR/AED/FIRST AID certification within 1 week of an offer

• Able to work in the U.S.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $17.70 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Schedule

Schedule: 32 to a 40-hour work week. Must be available to work any of the 7 days of the work week.
Shift 1: Swing: 2pm to 10pm: Workdays to be discussed during the interview.
Shift 2: Day/Swing Mix: 6am to 2pm: Monday & Tuesday/2pm to 10pm: Wednesday & Thursday.
Shift 3: Day: 6am to 2pm: Wednesday to Sunday.
Shift 4: Grave: 10pm to 6am: Sunday to Thursday.
