Security Officer - Rover/Driver

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Security Ambassador - Rover/Driver who thrives on adaptability and embraces change. This role varies daily, involving customer service, patrols, and surveillance, requiring agility and precision.

Schedule

• 40-hour work week
• Shift 1 (Swing): 2pm to 10pm on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Shift 2 (Grave): 10pm to 6am from Saturday to Tuesday

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $17.70 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
• Respond quickly to critical situations
• Perform access control by screening guests, employees, vendors, and others upon entry and exit
• Conduct security patrols inside and outside the facility by car, golf cart, and/or foot
• Issue appropriate badges at the facility
• Read and write detailed reports
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
• Work proficiently with electronics
• Maintain vehicles and other assigned equipment following proper procedures
• Obtain CPR/AED certification within 2 weeks of hire if not already certified

Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• At least 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license
• At least 1 year of security experience in a fast-paced environment, or equivalent Military/Law Enforcement experience
• Valid PILB in hand
• High School Diploma or GED, or higher degree
• CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 2 weeks of hire)
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• U.S. Citizen or Naturalized
