Security Officer Residential Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, resident, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity accurately and promptly in required reports.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$15.75 / Hour

Schedule

• Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
