About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Residential Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activities using computer or tablet tools.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and follow site procedures for entry, delivery, and parking-related matters.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
