As a Security Officer Residential Building Part Time Front Lobby in Brooklyn Heights, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Monitor front desk activity, verify visitor access, maintain guest logs, and communicate entry procedures to help support authorized access throughout the property.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Answer phones, receive inquiries, observe cameras and alarm activity, and document daily events, incidents, and unusual activity in clear written reports.

Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications: Subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.
