As a Security Officer Reception Specialist in Naperville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing employees, guests, and vendors to the appropriate location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to support access control procedures for authorized entry.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the proper chain of command when appropriate.
- Support front desk operations by maintaining visitor logs, issuing badges or passes when required, and documenting security-related incidents and/or daily activity.
- Assist with emergency response activities by communicating instructions, contacting the appropriate personnel, and helping to coordinate a professional response within the location.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Preferred Skills
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Pay & Schedule
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour
Schedule: Day Time - 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun)
