Security Officer - Communications Specialist

As a Security Officer - Communications Specialist in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. This role offers the chance to stay engaged in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor communication systems, cameras, alarms, and/or other dispatch tools to receive, prioritize, and relay information regarding incidents, service requests, and security-related concerns across the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating updates to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Cook up routine and urgent dispatch activity by assigning calls, tracking officer status, and maintaining accurate logs, reports, and records related to daily operations.
• Support a technology-focused location by helping to deter disruptions, reporting unusual activity, and following established policies for sensitive areas, equipment, and/or after-hours activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
