Security Officer PT School Patrol Guard

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that could help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry points, assist with access control practices, and help to verify that visitors follow location protocols while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support school operations during arrivals, dismissals, events, and/or after-hours activity by providing a visible presence and communicating security-related information to the appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
