Security Officer Patrol Watch

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies for a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observed activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials where required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activity in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities, including following post orders, assisting with controlled access during events, and relaying information to appropriate personnel and/or first responders.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Preferably have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a security or related field is preferred.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
