Security Officer Patrol Specialist

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location in Fort Worth, TX. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to riders, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and public areas; assist with directions, general information, and address rule violations or suspicious behavior in accordance with site expectations.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, unusual activity, and conditions observed during shifts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED (required by the client).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.00 per hour.
