Security Officer Patrol Specialist

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and/or assist with visitor and employee entry procedures in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and/or assisting with incident response and de-escalation when appropriate.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
