About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with shoppers, employees, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, potential policy violations, and conditions that may require attention or reporting.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Saturday: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
