Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Services in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and communication.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and document security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations in accordance with site expectations.
- Support daily operations by preparing incident reports, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests while working in varying environments and conditions across the property.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
