Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Route Verifier in Bridgeport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism.

  • Daytime: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, building entrances, trailers, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
