What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Support daily operations by maintaining accurate logs, completing incident reports, and assisting with traffic, vehicle, and/or pedestrian flow in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
