What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities across the campus location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with school personnel and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of school buildings, hallways, entrances, parking areas, athletic spaces, and perimeter grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols, helping to support an orderly environment during school hours, arrival and dismissal periods, and after-school events.
• Assist with security-related reporting, daily activity logs, and/or incident documentation while maintaining professionalism and respectful interaction with the school community.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
