Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a residential apartment location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or delivery arrivals while communicating professionally with residents and property personnel regarding security-related concerns.
• Support after-hours operations by observing community rules, reporting lighting or property issues, and assisting with security-related responses as needed.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
