What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and applicable emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support authorized access procedures for staff, contractors, and guests.
- Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and relay observations about equipment issues, policy concerns, and/or suspicious behavior to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
