Security Officer Patrol Response

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including loading areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries at the location, verify authorized access as directed, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or policy violations.
• Support daily operations at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location by maintaining awareness of site activity, communicating with site contacts, and following Allied Universal standards and post instructions.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
