Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Response Associate in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a people-first environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable approach while handling day-to-day security-related responsibilities with professionalism.

Job Schedule

• DayTime: Mon 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM, Thur 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and/or telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require security-related follow-up.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior according to post orders.
• Support site operations by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with visitor processing, deliveries, and/or other security-related duties assigned for the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
