About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Response Associate in Concord, NC at Amazon Warehouse, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. This unarmed role blends patrol duties with outstanding customer service and communication, offering the chance to work with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to acting with integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support orderly entry and exit procedures in line with location expectations.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, which is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
